I'm a 17-year-old entrepreneur and the visionary behind
Her Path to Her Power. This community and journal were born out of a desire to create a space for teenage girls to explore their identities, ambitions, and future paths. I believe it’s crucial for young girls to see someone their age, someone who looks like them, making strides in the business world. It sends a powerful message:
“If I can do it, so can you.”
I started this venture because I want to inspire other teenage girls to believe in their potential, regardless of their age. I’ve been fortunate to attend conferences and meetings with my mother, where I’ve been surrounded by encouraging voices. However, I often found myself feeling out of place, questioning my abilities because there was no one else my age or who looked like me in those rooms. I want to change that narrative.
The relationship between a mother and daughter is unique and complex. As a self-proclaimed daddy’s girl, my relationship with my mother wasn’t always close. I yearned for her to share her thoughts with me, to help me understand the decisions she made that impacted my life. I love to read and journal—they’re my escape routes. So, we decided to create a platform that would not only help us connect but also strengthen our bond.
Thus, the journal and community were born. They serve as a bridge, connecting mothers and daughters, facilitating open conversations, and fostering understanding. They’re tools to help you navigate your path to power, build a legacy, and understand that age is not a barrier but a stepping stone to greatness.
A few fun facts about me: I love psychology and plan to major in neuroscience. My favorite hobby is reading, and I enjoy listening to podcasts that challenge my thinking. I currently play three sports and even run my own YouTube channel, where I share my journey and passions.

How it all started
Growing up, I was what some might call a daddy’s girl. I had two brothers, and all I wanted to do was be outside doing “boy stuff.” Sports were my life—I played them all. I was always with the dogs, hated lip gloss and makeup, and preferred digging in the dirt over shopping any day. My mom often reminds me that she prayed for me, prayed for this little girl she could bond with. But back
then, I couldn’t have cared less about the things she loved.
Through all of it, my mom never stopped loving me. She gave me the space to be exactly who I was, even if it wasn’t what she envisioned for her daughter. Eventually, though, I grew up. I started liking boys, wearing deodorant, and being curious about things like makeup and style—things I knew I needed my mom’s help with. So, I went to her. Slowly, we started finding common ground.
Our bond wasn’t perfect, though. It was rocky at first. We argued a lot because, as much as I hated to admit it, we were so alike—strong-willed, stubborn, and determined to be right. We fought over the smallest things, and sometimes, it felt like we couldn’t see eye-to-eye on anything. On top of that, my mom was an entrepreneur and the owner of a childcare center. She wasn’t always as present as my dad, which made me feel like she wasn’t there for me when I needed her most.
But we made a choice—to work on our relationship. Over time, we started spending more time together. We’d go shopping all day, take random trips, and prioritize moments to connect. She made time, I made time, and slowly but surely, we built something beautiful. Now, we’re inseparable. She’s not just my mom—she’s my best friend.
A lot of people look at us now and think our bond is perfect, that we’ve always had this amazing relationship. But it wasn’t always
like this, and that’s why I created In Her Footsteps.
I want mothers and daughters to know that even the strongest bonds take work, intentionality, and love. I want to share our story and the tools we used to get to where we are today because if we could heal and grow together, I believe anyone can.
This journal is my way of helping others mend, connect, and build the kind of relationship my mom and I have now. It’s a path worth taking, and I hope you’ll take that first step.

We strongly advocate for giving young girls access to rooms filled with leaders and decision-makers. Why? Because it's in these rooms that they get to witness firsthand the conversations that shape our world. They get to see leadership in action, understand the dynamics of decision-making, and learn the language of influence and power.
This exposure is invaluable. It helps them understand that their voices matter, that they too can be leaders and decision-makers. It instills in them the confidence to speak up, to contribute their ideas, and to stand their ground. It shows them that no room is off-limits to them, no conversation too big for them to be a part of.
